Description of Refractory Cement CA
Aluminate cement is made from bauxite and limestone, calcined to produce clinker with calcium aluminate as the main component, and then ground to form a water-resistant cementitious material. Its color varies, but is usually yellow or brown, although gray is sometimes found. Calcium aluminate is most widely used as a binder for unshaped refractory materials.
