Description of Silica Fire Brick
Silica bricks are refractories containing at least 93% silicon dioxide (silica). Silica bricks are made from quartzites containing at least 95% SiO2, which are crushed. Silica bricks: Kerui Refractory offers you Silica bricks DN, DM, DV, DS, ED.
- Silica bricks DM - for laying open-hearth furnaces and other thermal units.
- Silica bricks DM - for laying open-hearth furnaces and other thermal units.
- Silica bricks DV - for masonry of nozzles, walls, domes, top of combustion chamber of combustion units and hot blast air ducts.
- ED Silica brick - for masonry vaults and arches of electric steel furnaces.
Преимущества динасового кирпича
Silica brick has excellent fire resistance and effectively resists fire damage. It does not melt, warp or crumble easily, providing effective insulation and fireproofing in the event of a fire, slowing the spread of fire and allowing more time for rescue.
In addition to common sizes and shapes, Silica bricks are customizable, allowing you to tailor shapes, sizes and fittings to suit different needs. This makes silicone bricks suitable for a wide range of architectural and industrial applications.
Silica brick is highly resistant to many chemicals and aggressive gases. It is less susceptible to acid and alkaline corrosion, dissolution or erosion and is able to perform stably for long periods of time in aggressive environments.
Silica brick has excellent high-temperature stability, maintaining structural integrity and stability at very high temperatures. It can withstand temperatures up to 1500°C and above, making it ideal for refractory structures and high-temperature equipment.
Silica brick has long service life and reliability due to its high temperature, fire and corrosion resistance. It is not susceptible to aging, wear or degradation and is able to operate consistently for long periods of time in harsh environments, reducing maintenance and replacement costs.
Silica bricks have excellent physical strength and durability. It has good compressive and bending strength and can withstand mechanical stress and heavy pressure. At the same time, the hard, abrasion-resistant surface of quartz brick resists wear and abrasion.
Application of Silica Brick
Silica bricks are widely used in industries such as metallurgical and chemical, porcelain and glassblowing industries.
- - for laying coke oven stoves;
- - for masonry walls, areas of verticals and overlapping verticals abraded with coke;
- - for masonry of regenerator zones, oblique passages, overlapping of verticals not erased by coke;
- - to repair the pitch, the walls;
- - for masonry in open-hearth furnaces;
- - for masonry heating furnaces;
- - for masonry nozzles, walls, domes, combustion chamber tops, hot blast connections and air pipes;
- - for thermal insulation of thermal units at application temperatures up to 1550 0C;
- - for masonry vaults and arches of electric steel furnaces;
- - for masonry of the upper structure of glass furnace regenerators.
