Description of fireclay bricks
Fireclay bricks are one of the main varieties of aluminium silicate products made from clay clinker as aggregate and refractory clay as binder. The Al2O3 content of fireclay brick is 30%-48% and the SiO2 content is 50%-65%.

Depending on the use of fireclay refractory bricks are produced in different grades: fireclay bricks ША general purpose, fireclay ladle bricks ШКУ, fireclay bricks for blast furnaces ШПД, fireclay bricks ШАВ, fireclay end bricks double-sided for lining rotary kilns ШЦУ, etc.

- Trapezoidal, wedge-shaped, arched - used for laying arched openings and vaults.




- Shaped - found application in finishing works.

Advantages of fireclay bricks
Fireclay brick has excellent refractory properties and can withstand heat loads and thermal shock under high temperature conditions. 1580 - 1750℃, the fireclay brick fire resistance is comparable to that of silica brick.
Fireclay bricks have good thermal stability, which makes it possible to maintain the stability of the structure in conditions of rapid cooling or heating at high temperature, and to reduce the impact of thermal stresses on the material.
Fireclay bricks have good resistance to chemical erosion, withstand aggressive substances such as acid and alkali, resist erosion, dissolution or corrosion and are suitable for environments and processes requiring chemical corrosion resistance.
Fireclay bricks have good thermal insulation properties that prevent heat transfer. This helps to maintain a comfortable temperature inside the building and reduces the need for heating and cooling systems, resulting in energy savings and lower energy costs.



Application of fireclay bricks
Fireclay bricks ША, ШАК
Brick ША, ШАК is used for lining the combustion chamber of the cooker. It is widely used in the construction of various gas boilers, combustion chambers, various furnaces and stove pipe vaults.
Fire Clay BrickШКУ
For lining and construction of steel ladles is brick of ШКУ grade. Fireclay bricks of this grade are highly refractory as they are in direct contact with metal melts in the ladle.
Fireclay bricks ШЦУ
Highly refractory brick ШЦУ is designed for lining rotary kilns and other thermal units. It is divided into wedge ribbed double-sided, wedge end double-sided.
Fire Clay Brick ШПД
Fireclay bricks of ШПД grade are widely used in the metallurgical industry. It is used for laying some parts of blast furnaces, such as the shaft, shoulders, header and grate.
