Zirconia ceramics, also known as zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) ceramics, are a class of advanced ceramic materials with exceptional properties and wide applications in various industries. These ceramics are made from zirconium, a metallic element, and oxygen and are characterized by high strength, excellent impact strength, thermal stability, and biocompatibility.
Zirconia ceramics is a new type of ceramics, which is mainly divided into three types:
magnesium stabilized zirconia ceramics (Mg-ZrO2)
Cerium stabilized zirconia ceramics (ZrO2 + CeO)
Yttrium Stabilized Zirconia (YSZ)
